The Aviator Lounge

The Aviator Lounge is part of the spirit of innovation that has always defined Bombardier, a major player in the world of business aviation. Andrea Mosca Creative Studio was chosen by the Canadian manufacturer to create an exceptional space designed to showcase its iconic creations in a prestigious setting such as the Yacht Club de Monaco. The project aims to represent the Bombardier universe by celebrating the history and innovations of this Quebec-based company, connecting us with its present, and allowing us to dream about the future of business aviation. In this special place, where aviation meets yachting, archetypes from the world of air are infused with marine references. The project, structured around two spaces, is defined by three key elements: the entrance, the exhibition promenade, and the meeting room. The first space contains the entrance, where the silhouette of the Global 7500 wing rises from the floor and becomes the reception desk; on the right-hand side, a curved element houses the scale models of the Bombardier lineup and separates the entrance from the rest of the space, creating the first level of protection and intimacy.

This architectural element invites us to begin our promenade through the second space of the Aviator Lounge. The promenade unfolds around the meeting room, along an exhibition alcove in Iroko wood where visitors can explore all the phases of the manufacturer’s history.      At the center of the second space, “The Nest” stands out as the project’s main feature. This meeting room is a circular space defined by three sculpted travertine forms that rise from the floor, creating a more intimate setting for visitors, sheltered from outside views. The sense of protection is reinforced by three Iroko wood petals descending from the ceiling, where a scale model of the iconic Blisk changes function and becomes a light diffuser. It is a project that speaks of air and sea — a fluid architecture in which visitors move freely and gradually discover the world of Bombardier.
