The major remodeling of a 6000m² office building was the subject of a competition in which all the interior spaces had to be renovated, as well as the façades.The main facade was south-facing and, in the specifications, was to be passive. The future owner was one of the major players in maritime transport, which led us to work on the wave concept: The façade, which is quite thick, narrows in front of each window where a cap takes the shape of a small wave and protrudes between the floors, providing the necessary shading for the passive façade to function. As in the sea view we have from a boat, from the bottom of the building, a series of wave punctuate the façades, giving the building a unique and contemporary look.
